Flamenco: How to count the Buleria Compas

The Buleria is one of the most exciting forms of flamenco, with it's strange cyclical beat which never seems to complete. The Compas (rhythm) consists of 12 beats, with the accents shown in bold type traditional form: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 modern form: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 in practice this is counted like this (in spanish) Un Dos Un Dos Tres Cuatro Cinco Seis Siete Ocho Nueve Diez |
