Cooperative Board Games By Game Boy Most people are used to games where the players compete with each to win the game, but with some modern games the players act together as a team to defeat the game. Either all the players or win, or 'The Game' defeats them. One of the best known examples of this style of board gema is Arkham Horror. Based on the Cthulhu Mythos, the players must defeat the terrible Ancient Ones threatening Arkham. Pandemic is bang up to date, with it's scenario of the players combating the onset of epidemic diseases before they wipe out humanity. A variation on this style of game is the inclusion of a 'Traitor' element. All the players seem to be united, but one of them is secretly acting to make the team lose. Battlestar Galactica is based on the recent sci-fi series. One of the players is actually a Cylon, but which one? in Shadows over Camelot the players are Knights struggling to save Camelot. But who is the traitor in their midst? Try something different, play a co-op game!
